There are two types of people in this world: sundwellers and us normal folk, who happen to be dwarves. The sundwellers, they prefer living outside the protective embrace of the mountains. They're a varied bunch, with all sorts of fancy names they give each other like men, humans, Emposians, Malierans, and whatnot. But to us dwarves, they all look the same—unnaturally tall. Most of them tend to be hasty, arrogant, and quite ignorant. But I must admit, they do have their own peculiar and, dare I say, charming quirks.
Now, here's a tale that's been passed down among us dwarves, although I can't vouch for its authenticity. They say some sundwellers actually venture to the big saltwater bodies, lie down on the sandy shores, and strip off most of their clothes just to let the sun scorch their skin! Can you believe it? They call it relaxing, but to me, it's downright odd.
And let's not forget their fondness for building their homes out of wood. Bless their naive hearts! How can they trust such a flammable material? Wood doesn't last more than a few centuries, while our sturdy stone dwellings endure for ages.

But perhaps the most endearing oddity of the sundwellers is their undying determination to brew inferior beer. It's been well over fifteen centuries since we graciously shared the secrets of brewing with them, yet they still can't surpass the skills of an average beardling. It's a shame, really, but in a slightly charming sort of way.
So, here's to the sundwellers with their sunburns, wooden houses, and subpar brews. They may be a puzzling lot, but they add a touch of whimsy to our world, and for that, we can't help but smile.
